what is a good age for a young girl to start shaving her legs?
My little girl has very thick dark hair on her legs and she if very self conscious about it. I can't remember how old I was when I started shaving my own legs but she's only 8 and I still feel like that is a little young. Any other moms out there with advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
I think you should definitely let her shave if it is bothering her.
I have very thick dark hair on my legs and at that age that was all that I could ever think about on days when I was wearing shorts. I always felt like I had to sit a certain way to hide my legs and i felt like everyone was always looking at them. kids at that age are brutal haha. I felt different than everyone else, because most little kids don't have legs that hairy at that age. My mom wouldn't let me shave until I was ten, which is understandable, but I can think of so many times when having hairy legs upset me and I wish she had let me do it sooner to save me all the embarrassment.
And that is my sob story about my hairy legs.
