how do i untangle my little sisters american girl dolls hair and make it less frizzy ?
my little sisters doll gets tangled so easily and its so frizzy and rough! how can i fix it?
Try a downy dunk on your doll it takes one day to finish first you take you doll and wrap her body up in either a towel or styling cape and set her on her back on top of a platform like a few books then take a bottle of downy unscented fabric softener and pour it in a tupperware make sure you put enough in to get all your dolls hair in. Then dip her hair into the downy and leave her there for about 24 hours make sure you use a spoon or something other than your hands to push her hair down into the downy. After you let her sit over night take her out and rinse her hair really well make sure you get all the downy out of her hair other wise it will make it greasy. then after your sure all the downy is out of her hair set her up still keeping her body wrapped in a towel in front of a cool fan never blow dry her heat her hair or you can lay her upside down off a table or counter and let her hair drip dry after her hair is good and dry brush it and it should be re-moisturized soft and silky. MAKE SURE YOU DON'T DO THIS FREQUENTLY!!! it is only for a doll with extremely frizzy and dry hair. you can also go on YouTube and search stephenswodadancer and she has a video on how to do a downy dunk on your doll. ALWAYS ASK FOR PERMISSION FROM YOUR PARENTS FIRST BEFORE YOU DO THIS!!!
