Why do my eyes and head hurt all the time?
For over a year I've been getting really bad headaches and my eyes have been feeling really sore/strained. They both usually start hurting after I've been awake for a while and the hurt until I got to bed. Aspirin usually helps the headache, but not the eye soreness. I thought that maybe I need glasses, but I've been to see my eye doctor twice since it started happening [once last year and once this year], but he said my eyes are in perfect condition. Could there be another reason for my headaches & the soreness of my eyes?
There are many types of headaches with many causes. You should see a doctor, perhaps a neurologist to determine which kind you have. Sometimes headaches can be cured by changing what you eat or a particular habit. You could be consuming something you are allergic to like sulfites in wines. You may be under a lot of stress or you could have migraines. They can be hard to sort out. I would caution you not to use narcotic pain killers as they are addicting and often make headaches worse.
