Good about yourself?
I got my hair cut/colored today [first time since December. I was starting to look polygamist, seriously] and the lady who washed my hair told me I had the "most perfect skin she'd ever seen". And then she called me a China Doll, which just made me sing David Bowie in my head the rest of the time. But, it was a very nice [and specific, don't specifics make you feel good?] compliment. Made me happy :]
i love that line!! ("starting to look polygamist") i almost hiccuped i laughed at that so hard!
i had a friend come drag me out of the house the other night...i really didn't want to go, but she was feeling, well, er...lonely. it was like midnight, and i was really settled in...and in my usual sexy night time clothes (tshirt and boxers) and no makeup. i pulled my hair up in a ponytail, changed into some jeans and a top and i **think** i put on some blush and lipstick and we walked to one of bars near my place.
she, of course, looked like a million bucks. we sat at the bar and ordered drinks, and this guy sitting next to me looked over at us and told the bartender to put them on his tab. my friend leaned over me and smiled and said thank you. he looked at her and said you're welcome. then he politely ignored her and started talking to me. i felt so bad for the guy...he would have gotten lucky if he had just picked the other girl. but it made me feel good anyway.
i swear it had to be the ponytail. does it everytime.
